Good morning from Singapore. Already had a swim this morning in the hotel pool.
On decent last night we were put into a holding pattern over Indonesia due to traffic congestion at Changi. Spectacular sunset views, but as we began our final turn into Singapore the seatbelt light was switched on before we suddenly entered a cumulonimbus cloud and turbulence struck.
Then down over the row of ships into Singapore’s Changi airport. Was glad to get out.
We had to wait a while in the heat and humidity for the shuttle bus to the hotel. So tired and hungry.
Dinner of nasi lemak, nasi goreng and popiah at the hawker centre opposite the hotel at almost 9pm. Many stalls had already closed. The lime juice and bandung warung were so good.
Couldn’t wait to sleep!
